Balodabazar violence case Bhim Army Chief ASP MP Chandra Shekhar Azad Reaction in Chhattisgarh ANN

Chandra Shekhar Azad Visits Chhattisgarh: Bhim Army chief and MP from UP’s Nagina Lok Sabha seat Chandrashekhar Azad reached Chhattisgarh on Thursday. Chandrashekhar Azad met Governor Vishwa Bhushan Harichandan at Raj Bhavan and submitted a memorandum demanding to take cognizance of the Balodabazar violence case. After this, Azad left to address a public meeting at the high school ground in Bhatgaon Nagar Panchayat of Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district at 2 pm.

Meanwhile, MP Chandrashekhar Azad said, “Innocent workers are being arrested in the Balodabazar violence case. People in jail are being tortured, this torture should stop. We will not tolerate this torture. The way people of Satnami community are being tortured in Chhattisgarh. Satnami community is a very justice-loving community and does not believe in violence. I am against the way they are being targeted through conspiracy.”

Chandrashekhar Azad further said, “For such a long time, the beliefs of the Satnami community are being tampered with. The people of the Satnami community have been submitting a memorandum since a month ago. They are demanding a CBI inquiry. Our faith is not being respected. There should be a CBI inquiry into this incident. Action should be taken against the person, irrespective of his caste or religion. Innocent people are being beaten up. If the youth of the Satnami community and the youth of the Bhim Army are beaten up, we will not tolerate it.”

What is the whole matter?
In fact, on June 10, people of a particular community staged a sit-in protest in Balodabazar. During this, the protesters clashed with the police. Along with this, the angry people of the community pelted stones and beat up the police and vandalized and set fire to the joint office complex and hundreds of private and public vehicles parked there.

The protesters also set the Collectorate and SP office on fire. There was tension in the entire area for a long time. After the dispute subsided, the search for the accused began. To arrest the accused, the police formed 21 different teams and started arresting them. The police is arresting the accused on the basis of CCTV footage.

In the arson case, the police have arrested 153 people including Chhattisgarh Bhim Army state president Rajkumar Jangde, state vice-president Dinesh Kumar Kathotiya, Bhim Army state general secretary Ramswaroop Mahilange, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh Bhim Army state executive member Vijay Sonwani.
