That is why the court banned the couple from naming their child Piye.

The child’s parents, Katrina and Danilo Primola, said that they had decided to name their son in honor of Piye for a special reason. Because he is also of African descent. And this name will help him connect with his African roots. The child’s father, Danilo Primola, said, ‘Reusing African names is a powerful way to look at the history of black people in a new way.
We have the right to educate our children about this strength, this culture and in a way that their name represents them.’ According to the news agency, the court also said in its decision that the pronunciation of Ferro’s name is similar to the Portuguese word ‘plea’, which is a ballet dance step. Due to this, the child can be bullied in the future. This matter is becoming quite viral on social media.
