This year Panchak is starting from 16th September 2024, that is, Panchak period will start a day before Ganesh Visarjan. This Panchak will start from Monday, the Panchak starting from Monday is called Raj Panchak.
Raj Panchak will start on 16th September at 05.44 am and will end on 20th September 2024 at 05.15 am.
Ganesh Visarjan will also take place during Raj Panchak. Auspicious work is prohibited during Panchak but Panchak will not create any hindrance in Ganesh Visarjan because Panchak Kaal does not create any hindrance in worship.
Panchak is considered inauspicious but there is a belief about Raj Panchak that due to its influence, one gets success in work in five days, especially there are chances of success in property and government work.
Kanya Sankranti, Vishwakarma Puja, Anant Chaturdashi, Lunar Eclipse, Bhadrapada Purnima fast will also come during Raj Panchak in September 2024. Do not shop or start new work during this time, because doing so in Panchak gives inauspicious results.
Follow some rules during Raj Panchak, like do not get the roof of the house built, do not travel in the south direction. Do not collect wood, fuel etc.
